TERMS AND CONDITIONS – FIT SKATTA

  1. Memberships are valid until further notice, so we don’t require long-term commitments from our customers. We have a one-calendar-month notice period (for example, if you cancel on November 1, 2026, your membership will end on December 31, 2026). You also won’t pay any joining fees or annual service charges with us
  2. Cancellation During a Campaign Period: If you join as a member during a promotional campaign, you cannot cancel your membership during the campaign period. The first possible cancellation date will be after the campaign period ends. Once the campaign period is over, the standard one-calendar-month notice period applies (see 1.).
  3. Membership Pauses During a Campaign Period: Memberships cannot be paused during a campaign. Pauses can only begin from the next billing period (see 14).
  4. Training is at Your Own Risk: Members train at their own responsibility. Gym is responsible for the proper functioning of equipment and the qualifications and professionalism of instructors.
  5. Gym Access for Members Only: The gym is intended for members only. Entering the gym without a membership will result in a penalty equivalent to three times the single-visit fee according to the price list (€19.90 × 3). This fee will be charged for each unauthorized visit. Repeated violations may result in a ban from the gym.
  6. Misuse of Membership: Misuse of membership, such as giving your access card to another person or letting someone else in using your access, will result in a penalty. The penalty equals three times the single-visit fee according to the price list (€19.90 × 3) and will be charged for each unauthorized visit. In cases of repeated violations, the gym may impose a ban on the member.
  7. Access Key is Personal: Your access key is personal and must always be carried when entering the gym. Members must provide proof of identity upon request. Any lost access key must be reported immediately to gym staff. If someone else uses your key and the loss has not been reported in writing, the member will be charged a penalty equal to three times the single-visit fee (€19.90 × 3) multiplied by three for each unauthorized visit. Repeated violations may result in termination of membership. Payments already made will not be refunded.
  8. VAT and Regulatory Changes: The gym will notify members of changes in value-added tax or any other regulatory-related price adjustments at least one month before these changes are applied to member fees.
  9. Preloading Balance: Your balance must be loaded before an invoice is generated for it to automatically apply to the open invoice. If the invoice has already been issued, your loaded balance will not automatically apply. Please notify us if you load balance after the invoice has been generated. Contact customer service so we can apply the payment to your latest invoice.
  10. Late Payments: In case of late payments, the gym has the right to charge statutory late interest and reminder fees. If the invoice must be sent to collections, the member is responsible for reasonable collection costs. Access will be denied and the access key deactivated immediately if the first overdue invoice is 28 days past due. Access will be restored once payments are made.
  11. Right to Decline Membership Gifts: Members have the right to refuse joining gifts.
  12. Corporate Memberships: In corporate agreements, the contracting parties are Fit skatta and the member as an individual. The company covers the agreed portion of the member’s training costs. If the member leaves the company or the company stops paying its share, the member remains ultimately responsible for the payments.
  13. Membership Cancellation: Not paying an invoice does not terminate the membership. Cancellation requires an in-person visit or an email to skatta@ole.fit. You cannot cancel directly during a pause; the standard one-calendar-month notice applies only when the membership is active.
  14. Membership Pauses: Members may pause their membership for 4–8 weeks once per year, according to billing periods. Already issued invoices will not be canceled. Pauses can start from the beginning of the next unpaid billing period. The gym does not credit paid training time on future invoices. You cannot cancel directly from a paused membership.
  15. Customer Data and Privacy: We maintain a customer registry and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), supplemented by national legislation. The gym’s privacy policy is available on our website and upon request at the gym.

 
FIT SKATTA RULES

  1. Customers are expected to maintain cleanliness and good manners at the Gym and at events organized by it. Members must leave the gym within the opening hours. Disturbing other people who are training is prohibited. Selling or promoting products or services at the club is considered inappropriate. If a customer violates these rules or otherwise behaves against the spirit of the gym, a written warning will be issued. If the violation continues despite the written warning, the membership may be terminated in full. In such cases, payments already made will not be refunded.
  2. The gym may occasionally be used for corporate events, advertising shoots, renovations or seasonal cleaning. The gym may be temporarily closed during these times. Advance notice will be provided at the gym and by email. These situations have been considered in pricing and do not entitle members to compensation.
  3. Members are responsible for ensuring that the gym’s activities are suitable for their health and should consult a doctor if necessary. Equipment must be used according to instructions.
  4. Clean indoor shoes or socks suitable for training must be worn. Outdoor shoes and barefoot training are prohibited. Members must clean equipment after use. Equipment must be returned to its designated place.
  5. Lockers are provided for use during training. Valuables should not be stored in lockers. The gym is not responsible for loss or damage of personal belongings. Items may not be left overnight in lockers or changing rooms.
  6. Smoking is prohibited. Alcohol, substances and illegal drugs as defined by Finnish law are strictly forbidden. Children under 15 are not allowed in exercise areas without written permission.
  7. The customer is entitled to participate in all free and paid gym events.
  8. Complaints regarding cleanliness, service or staff should be reported immediately to customer service or by email to skatta@ole.fit.
  9. The gym holds entrepreneur’s liability insurance. Activities outside the gym are not covered.
  10. Members must scan their key card at the reception card reader on every visit.
  11. Intentional damage to property may result in termination of membership and liability for damages. All thefts are reported to the police. The gym operates continuous camera surveillance.
